Welcome to Meetup

What is Meetup?
👥 In Meetup, we fight against deportations. We want to find solutions together so that everyone who wants to can stay in Germany. We are a political network of people with and without a refugee background. We support each other and stand in solidarity against deportations, isolation in camps, racism and problems with the authorities.

📆 We meet every Thursday from 4 to 5:30 pm in the Wesertor district center. We talk about problems with the immigration authorities, asylum issues, toleration or deportation. Together we try to find solutions. Do you have a problem? Then come along and we will stand by your side and are independent. It’s an open space to think together about what you can do and how we can be strong together!

☕️ We are not lawyers, have nothing to do with the state and are not a large organization like Diakonie. We are a self-organized network and a place for mutual exchange. We want to support each other by talking, sharing experiences, taking action, providing support or simply having a coffee. Our support is based on solidarity, free of charge and confidential. We speak German, English, Arabic, French, Spanish and Turkish. If you speak another language, we can help you find a translator.

✊🏽✊🏻✊🏼 Come over! Let’s fight together for a better and fairer society! Against every deportation – for the right to go and stay!
